Four Seasons Osaka

“Cloud Voyage” is an art installation by Jordy that beautifully captures the essence of Osaka’s seascape and rich maritime heritage. Drawing inspiration from the serene ocean and iconic sailboats seen along Osaka’s coastline, Jordy incorporates traditional Japanese kirigami (paper cutting) techniques to bring a unique, ethereal quality to the sculpture.

 

The installation is showcased at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Dojima 1 Osaka, Japan , where its airy, cloud-like form invites viewers to reflect on journeys through the sea and the vibrant stories of Osaka’s history and culture. Through intricately cut shapes and forms, the sculpture tells visual tales of adventure, discovery, and the spirit of Osaka. It serves as a bridge between traditional Japanese art forms and contemporary design, blending local artistry with global aesthetics.
